Sumner Fitness is  located in a neighborhood center, The Shops at Sumner Place,  on Sangamore Road  across from the National Geospacial Intelligence Agency.   This is between Massachusetts Avenue and MacArther Boulevard, a short mile outside the D.C. / Maryland line.
